Sure, part of it might that a lot of these actors need a little more income, but I'm not complaining. I love when my favorite childhood stars show up as guest stars on a TV show or star in a movie. It gives me so many feelings! There is bound to be more nostaglia-themed shows, games, and bars/restaurants coming along in the next few years as we twentysomethings get older, build families, and build businesses.
What really made me want to write this post was that on Tuesday I caught a rerun of Chopped featuring "Sitcom Moms" and it starred Jackée Harry (Lisa Landry from Sister, Sister) and Betsy Randle (Mrs. Matthews from Boy Meets World) and it was great. My sister said, "those aren't celebrities" but I disagree. They are celebrities to me. My sister may think I'm a weird kid for still caring about my favorite stars from my childhood but I am not alone. Millions of twentysomethings are celebrating their childhoods everyday.
What are some things you would like to see make a comeback? Are there any shows or movies you'd like to see remade, turned into spinoffs, or made into sequels? Give us your feedback!!
