In this article, James writes an open letter to Dawson, discussing how he thinks his life may have turned out and making jokes at his former character's expense.
In Melissa's telling of Clarissa's life after the show, she discusses her BA and life as a traveling journalist, traveling with famous bands and Sam's life as an environmentalist living, quite literally, in a tree.
As news about Girl meets World is flying around the internet like crazy, this article was posted as the most recent installment in the series. Rider didn't' want to try to write the life of Shawn, a character he says has lived "in the basement" for twelve years. However, he mentioned some options such as living married to Angela Moore with a child, a world famous poet, or a detective with an attractive female partner.
Personally, I hope Shawn is living as a poet in New York with Angela. And I honestly hope he shows up in Girl Meets World because it wouldn't be the same if Cory and Shawn had grown apart in the next decade of their friendship (Rider went out to dinner this week with Danielle Fishel, Ben Savage, and Will Friedle according to Twitter, so I hope that is a good sign of things to come).
